February has a variety of events, including Valentine’s Day, coming up soon. If you are interested in the traditional Valentine’s Day history, it has its origins as a Christian feast, which then went to Valentine’s Day. But I personally like to remind everyone that we should consider friendship, sharing our lives with those we love and who are alone in the 21st century, not just childish romance. Of course, a little chocolate never hurts, either.
February could be a time for personal planning for the year, remembering others’ birthdays, Easter dates, and other important items.
Hobbies
Given that this February isn’t overloaded with events, finding a few hobbies you enjoy for recreation and relaxation would be a good thing. They could range from gaming or gardening to arranging flowers, cooking, entertaining or learning the skill of entertaining, puzzles, or even painting. Really, whatever floats your boat. Hobbies look good on a resume, are a bit of a conversation piece, and are relaxing, we hope, for you.
Music
Having music to relax while doing errands or chores can be a good idea. I found this instrumental worship below if you would like something quiet in the background.
Flowers
Traditionally, roses are often considered, but if you like flowers, dried, plastic, fresh, or in pictures, make your space a bit special with what you like.
