Welcome to our online Bible Study group.

Our group draws inspiration from the Proverbs 31 woman and other church-related events, as well as the changing seasons. We follow the Jewish Calendar and the Christian Calendar, which guide us through significant events like Christmas and Easter. These calendars, along with the natural seasons, form the backbone of our study and observances, connecting us to our rich religious traditions.

The Jewish Calendar follows two strict cleaning regimes for the home during the year. One of them, traditionally known as spring cleaning in Europe, is a time for deep cleaning and spiritual preparation for the Passover. The other, known as the High Holiday cleaning, is a time of reflection and renewal before the Jewish New Year. Traditional Jewish customs have a lot to say about keeping the home, the person, and the diet healthy. An example of this would be that the Old Testament, as we as Christians call it, had a sewage pit and usage outside of the city for hygiene reasons. What we take for granted as indoor plumbing, is a new invention and God wanted his people to be healthy as well as living in a hygienic environment.

Over the next few weeks, I’m thrilled to share more details in this post, including our own calendar to keep us on track each month and anticipate what’s coming up the following month. I can’t wait to delve into these exciting topics with you all.
As a bit of a side note, I’m excited to share that Easter will be in late April, which means we have some time before we need to focus on home cleaning for March. But rest assured, we’ll have more to share about this joyous occasion soon.
