The SOAP study application technique to your daily bible reading stands for;

• S is scripture
• O is observation
• A is application
• P for Prayer

I learnt this technique from Pastor Andrew Evans and his wife Lorraine Evans when I attended their church and bible college at Paradise in Adelaide, South Australia.
Pastor Andrew changed laws in Australia, formed a political party called Family First, and, as a couple, ran a huge debt-free church. Pastor Andrew Evans was also on the church board for Australia. They used a few different Bible studies and read through the Bible once or twice a year.
You can easily do this over your morning breakfast or coffee, making the most of small amounts of time. 5-10 minutes can accomplish a lot in your daily life.
What scripture stands out to you as you read your daily bible reading? That’s the Spirit highlighting something to you. So that is Scripture.
