Everyone has times when they are busy. Having a routine for these busy periods helps you accomplish the things that are important to you.
Morning
Do a quick reading of your daily Bible plan. Take a screenshot of what speaks to you. Taking a screenshot helps you avoid worrying about remembering scriptures and other important information. You have a screenshot, job done.
Using Apps
Some older pastors are apprehensive about new technology because people are using apps, but new technology can be helpful, especially when time is limited. Thinking of apps in a positive manner means you always have the Bible at hand on your phone or other device.
You can even use notes or screenshots to record important information. When you have a bit of time, you can look over them
.
Lunch Time
Have a little routine to stop and relax. What would you like to do? Journaling in the evening or lunch time?
You could go for a prayer walk or play worship music in the background while you do something.
You could go over verses that have meaning to you.
It doesn’t need to be a massive routine; just something that fits your lifestyle.
Worship Music
You can fellowship with the Lord while doing mundane tasks, whether in your car or at home. Fill your life with worship music when you need it. Again, great use of small moments or big chunks of time. Work out what is beneficial for you.
Evening Time
IIf you have children, you could read from a children’s Bible and settle them down with a nightly prayer—good habits to have.
In your private time, an evening prayer, some verses and journaling will round out your day.
These are some ideas. You can move them around and make the most of your time, so you know you are feeding your spirit and your faith life without feeling burdened by busyness.
